Are there any Barclays customers in this thread who are seriously pissed off with the closure of the branch? Numbers using the branch have gone down during the pandemic they say, what a surprise. As someone points out parking has been made difficult. In fact access altogether has been made difficult, not least by the withdrawal of the 440 bus and the dratted cycle lane Chiswick residents who use Barclays yet live in Ealing do not have the benefit of their MP fighting for them as the bank is in Hounslow. Disabled and elderly customers have the problem of King St being one way, as indeed is Richmond, where Barclays is situated, so taxi access difficult and in any case Barclays will shut them soon. I hear Macken Bros are protesting. anyone else? Can we unite? And those of you desperate to replan the whole area hold your horses, some of us are badly affected by this closure. Even with online banking there are things you need a physical bank for. |
