Henry I could not agree more. Road network in London is already under strain, and unless broader measures are taken to reduce long distance commute and through traffic it will remain so. Reducing capacity of key junctions or likes of Hammersmith gyratory/ High Road becomes problematic as soon as issues elsewhere. The point is there will always be issues across the road network, especially in W4 where we have so many routes passing through. So reducing major route capacity will only increase the amount of total gridlock we suffer. |
