"jP: "This is down to the cyclelane no doubt about it and it stays the same once in operation." "I was driving down the South Circular towards Acton at about 5.30(?) and the traffic report on LBC mentioned that there'd just been a major incident "between the Hammersmith Gyratory and Brook Green Tennis Courts". "No mention of a cycle lane, though I did then see at Ealing Common a young cyclist being treated at the side of the road by ambulance staff, while police questioned the driver of a car which had been pulled over" 4 lanes do not go into 2 down CHR at any point when something happens I witnessed a police car on a call which struggled along CHR from the main lighs at chiswick lane. It got to about leyland when cars were trying to reverse into mayfield avenue so the police car had some room to move. Guess what,it gave up and turned its blues and twos off. Thank god it was not an ambulance with somone in the back needing to get somewhere fast. That issue stays the same even when the cycle lane is done. 4 into 2 does not work on CHR,its the makeup of the area. I would say stick that in your pipe and smoke it,but as you called me out id say stick that down your throat and choke on it becasue someone in a back of a ambulance or someone in a domestic despute may wel be doing such without the correct responce, and all down to not being able to get from A to B . |
