| Oh dear, Ruth. Who are you to tell a carer how to travel? They get paid so little for doing so much and yet you think your agenda should be part of their daily routine. Please carers, if you could only pedal in from far away to then pedal around in the pouring rain so you can wipe Ruth's ass, that would be grand. Then pedal off. I dare you to pedal just one day in their shoes. Just one. I see many carers arrive by car to tend to the folks on my street. If I'm not mistaken, they have parking permits so they can come and go without getting a PCN. But I also wonder if you think carers should shell out more money for a bike. As you say, they aren't paid a lot and maybe they'd prefer to spend that money on rent, food or a very well deserved holiday. Surely you can see the fault in your own logic. |
