NV Brooks A bit off topic for the thread. You obviously can excess the Internet by as you post on the forum. Most GP surgery's provide an electronic log on to the surgery's Software, to request your medication or even another member of your family. The Surgery then sends an electronic prescription to the Pharmacy of your choice, then they can deliver to your address. You GP surgery will flag up a list of Pharmacy's that you can choose from. But you have to ask the pharmacies near to you if they can deliver to your address on any working day, as some only deliver once a week, some charge, and some don't deliver. But once you have it set up, I wouldn't say you will have 100% service, you will still have the odd hiccup now and then. The Best thing about this system is its all done from your home, no need for anyone to make a special trip out to the Pharmacy or you GP surgery. |
