| Robin, things have moved on in the last twenty five years or so since this development was built. Yes I know it was enjoyed by locals, I went there myself but, things change and you have to let go of the past and look to the future. I agree the original plans were overbearing but the latest we're far from it. Objections included, lack of access to open space and an issue with overlooking to a couple of existing units. In case, dear reader, you don't know the area it is slap bang next to Dukes Meadows and almost any new development will look on to something. Call it a brasserie if that helps your point,however it's nothing to do with class war, the fact is it's a disgrace that the building has stood empty for years and years. While I am at it, can the person responsible for the ragged we love Pissaro's banner opposite the RNLI remove it. Like the building, it's an eyesore. |
