| I don't think that there is sufficient evidence to conclude that she is a racist. Having dealt with her, I know that she was an extremely effective MP and an effective manager. But some of her immigration policies were very oppressive. She is authoritarian by nature, a pragmatist, and now we see also an opportunist. Effective, but lacking vision- so not the person to lead us through the Brexit negotiations. She is completely out of her depth, and being "bloody difficult" is not going to make headway in Europe when we have already played all the cards. She is also a populist- now playing to the gallery- which is exactly what got us into this mess in the first place. Unfortunately, both May and Cornyn have seen feom Trump how a bit of aggressive rabble rousing rhetoric gets results. Hopefully the majority of the UK population will see through it. |
