| Jill, I have to say that your contributions on here reflect all that is worst about the debate that has gone on both before and after the vote. You abuse people of a different opinion from yours (e.g. "lily-livered Remainers, who have lost the cojones to fight for the final last chance to gain back control of this once, wonderful, country that was ours"), and now you mock the genuine concerns of people about the future of our country. I'm not one of the "sour grapes" brigade as you amusingly call it, and I haven't complained on this forum about the result. Nevertheless I am desperately concerned about the effects of Brexit on the Union, potential loss of manufacturing capacity, loss of the City's Euro market, and above all about the nasty climate of intolerance which has taken over this country - intolerance of strangers, intolerance of anyone with a different viewpoint. This isn't about winning or losing the vote - it's a bloody sight more serious than that. |
