| Hi - The Jamaican Prison sounds like a "no brainer" - the payback period is reported as being something like two and a half years. The infrastructure projects are I would guess tied to orders for British Companies giving us access to a market dominated by the USA? Presumably its a good idea to keep on the right side of the Chinese if they are going to be paying for our next generation of nuclear power stations. I do not think that the statement that "he is spending money anywhere but in the UK" stands up to much critical scrutiny. Sounds a bit sour grapes to me. Aid money is always controversial but spent wisely it can be a "win/win". I accept that this is often hard to achieve. |
