| we're currently incurring an annual cost of more than £10m a year to house just over 300 high risk Jamaican prisoners. As another contributor to this thread has already stated, the "payback" period on the £25m is under 3 years and means that for the first time we can actually get these criminals out of the country once and for all. The same reciprocal arrangements also apply in reverse whereby british criminals are repatriated from abroad and imprisoned here. |
