Cutting tuition fees will benefit everybody who doesn't want a massive debt hanging over them. This affects people who will never end up paying just like people who will pay. And of course the Conservatives, the Daily Mail and the energy companies will say that - they would, wouldn't they, after all it's an overwhelmingly popular policy announced by the Labour party. And of course the policy is not just a freeze, it's also giving the regulator powers to reduce prices when the energy companies profiteer as they seem regularly to do, and a fundamental reform of how the market works. |
