Guy, negative feedback like this is hardly surprising as the system is a bit Darwinian. If they manager likes your colleagues better than you then you will get fewer shifts or the less attractive ones. The natural response is to blame the firm not your own inadequacies. I can only repeat the almost universal impression I get from actually talking to people who work there is one of reasonable contentment with the job. I don't think I am getting a skewed view because the same people have often told me how rubbish the stock is. I was in Lilywhites a few years back buying some cricket equipment and the sales assistant talked me out of buying some of the stuff I was looking at and recommended a specialist retailer to get it from. He did actually like the firm and his job but as a keen club cricketer himself refused to sell any product he knew was sub-standard. |
