| Hi Andy. You are right it would clear the amount of traffic coming back east but that isn't really going to solve anything for people trying to get onto the roundabout from the A4 and A406. If that westbound traffic locks everything up it doesn't really matter what is coming from the right as they are just going to run into the back of them and have to wait. Opening an exit up on a roundabout is all well and good but unless you can give an extra lane to get off on every arm without it then running into a bottle neck then letting more people onto an already failing roundabout just won't work. I actually design this stuff for a living and I'll tell you it is an absolute nightmare to try and make work as there are so many factors involved. |
