For the last two years I boycott anything that is being delivered by Yodel if I can find out if it is them who are delivering.  Fortunately most of the people I order online from regularly allow you to pay another pound or two for a much better service from DPD who give you an hour slot and deliver within that hour and don't just dump the goods on the doorstep whether you are in or not and run.
