I agree it would be difficult but if someone is not taxed in this country - I think the term is domiciled for tax purposes in the UK - then that would be easier to trace wouldn't it? Sales go through the Land Registry and it wouldn't be difficult to link that to tax records surely? They are using the properties like a savings account but not paying tax the way we would on a bank savings account. They are also creating dead areas of extremely expensive housing. |
