Funny, I must have missed the section in Lidl where you can buy a cask-conditioned pint of traditional English ale.

As a place to meet up with friends face-to-face and have a convivial evening together a pub is hard to beat, whether in central London or in a country village.

And in some cases they are great places to watch sporting events in company with fellow enthusiasts, which is miles better than sitting at home on your own.
