| You have not mentioned the energy costs that these venues have! Too many of our buildings are not fit to deal with the extremes of heat and drought and sudden heavy rainfall we are now going to experience. We are also changing the way that we cook and what we cook so as to minimise those costs. Extinction Rebellion and Insulate Now were ridiculed for drawing attention to the problems we are now facing. But never mind let's blame everyone else... including those whose fault it wasn't because they don't create huge greenhouse gas emissions. https://www.nbcnews.com/science/climate-change/tiny-pacific-nation-vanuatu-turns-world-court-climate-disasters-mount-rcna220215 https://www.theguardian.com/news/2025/aug/14/how-to-leave-a-sinking-nation-tuvalus-dreams-of-dry-land |
