When carers who travel from house to house are employed by a company that arranges who their timetable and who they care for we found that the customers call times often overlapped without allowing the time to travel from one home to another. That travelling time is supposed to be paid by the employer. There are some MPs who think this is unskilled work but there are receivers of this care who most definitely think otherwise. The same for some of the other jobs mentioned. You may not be employable without any previous experience. Previous experience can create a skill far far greater than a piece of paper can. |
