| In the 1990s New York City was a den of iniquity. Julian Giuliani was appointed mayor to clean up the joint. He ordered his police force to concentrate on addressing minor offences; graffiti, shoplifting and unsocial behavior for instance. Within the mayor's term of office NYC had changed for the better, and become a safer and great place to live in again. If only we could find a Mayor or a Commissioner of the Metropolis with the bravado of Rudy Giuliani. Of course it would entail our police to actually get their boots on the ground. |
