| I know we are all bound to see the past with rose-tinted glasses (I'm guilty of it too!) but back in the day when Fisher's Lane was open I remembered tailbacks on south Parade, Turnham Green Terrace, Acton Lane and the like. Plus, obviously, a big queue at the junction where Waft and Gail's are and the semi-regular instance of the 'bus-vs-SUV' standoff in the underpass proper. We need more public transport in my opinion. |
