| Your dilemma seems to be similar one that many parents with young children have - the route is great for kids once you are on it but it can be a challenge getting onto it safely. Many of those living in the north and west of Chiswick can't really access for this purpose. Assuming you were going west you could have perhaps crossed Turnham Green and or taken the 'Quietway' along Heathfield Terrace then cut through residential back roads to get to Gunnersbury. |
