| Given the complexity of the junctions it might be a better idea to open the cycleway in phases so that they can be monitored properly and quickly reviewed if problems become apparent. If you started with the Heathfield Terrace junction you would avoid having to deal with the more complicated junctions at the eastern end of the route. Admittedly it would be frustrating for cyclists initially but better a shorter cycleway for a while than none at all. I remain fascinated to see how the Goldhawk Road junction management will work. |
