| I've used it a couple of times - these are my experiences: 1. Cycle lane blocked by cars pulling out of side roads. 2. Cycle lane blocked by an Uber that stopped in the cycle lane to drop off a passenger. 3. Car turning right out of TGT and heading straight toward me before realising there was a cycle lane. 4. Pedestrians not knowing when to cross and stepping into the cycle lane. 5. Pedestrians standing in the cycle lane waiting for a bus on the floating bus island outside Wyndhams. 6. The terrifying experience outside Waitrose where the cycle lane crosses the High Road and Heathfield Terrace. 7. Cyclists ignoring the red 'Cycle Stop' lights (as usual) and risking being taken out by cars turning right into Dukes Avenue. On the whole it works a lot better than I thought it would but it's not perfect and as it stands I think it is dangerous. |
