| Try turning right from Goldhawk onto CHR. The moment you pull the steering wheel you end up in the cycle lane as the roadway and cycle lane meet head on. There is no place to go but directly into the oncoming cyclists. By design I might add. Mind you its not uncommon to have someone on your left turning right with you simultaneously. I'm sure we'll hear the blather about phasing lights but when a cycle lane meets the roadway head-on intentionally it ain't gonna end well. |
