| Why does everything new have to be so very ugly? Those "igloos" are hideous! Hounslow Council hates Chiswick for its green open spaces and for its majestic tree - cut 'em down, pour out the concrete, fill every space with soaring high rise sky scrapers, create ugly wind canyons filled with lycra clad, heads down, bums up strangers swooping through on their daily commute to Central London. Hounslow area of culture??? Apart from the beautiful grand houses and parks, destined to become theme parks, it's Chiswick that has all the other places of culture, not wider Hounslow. Ugly, ugly and it's called progress! |
