"recognised the work and expertise involved producing the response"

That's rich, Michael.

Here is your "expertise" to consider:

You refer to businesses being concerned as the noisiest of opponents yet you yourself can't be bothered to meet with any of them to understand their position. You call it Bike Myth Number 4. Based on nothing. Unless, of course, you base it on TfL information, that closed loop of encyclopedic knowledge that only fertilizes itself. At a loss of Ł1 billion.

Removes the street's highly prized wide pavements - this is absolutely true in places yet you present it as otherwise blathering on about maximum scores generated by, you guessed it, TfL. How's the dead cat? Still dead?

Destroy much loved trees - it takes a newly planted tree roughly 25 years to reach the ability to filter carbon. But you know that. So those 4-5 trees scheduled for removal and those that are surely to suffer from the impact of construction and be cut down in the future will all contribute to an increase in pollution because less filtering will be possible. I know in your world if you say the earth is flat its flat, but take a look. It's round.

"it appears the councillors believe that traffic driving through the area should be using residential streets"
Uh, no, the TfL revised consultation did through the Glebe estate. You know, your beloved TfL. It's still unclear if that will be happening because it seems you won't be able to turn right onto CHR from Dukes Road anymore. Thanks, TfL, for the rat run past the primary schools.

"Remove essential parking spaces used by shoppers and businesses"

1.) TfL has never surveyed this and the GLA has called them out on it.
2.) Brentford is in the process of gaining 500+ newly built parking spaces with LBH's blessing. Guess parking is essential after all.

"Traffic gridlock for up to two years during construction" Your response is all about rates relief which I guess I should thank you for but you completely ignored the concern. That bob and weave is always an admission of guilt. You know it will but suddenly you give a damn about businesses that you refuse to meet with. How genuine. How gracious. How bullsh*t.
