There was a consultation by TfL and this didn't show that there was strong opposition to the changes around Bollo Lane. If you alter any route there are going to be winners and losers but, based on the evidence of people who cared enough to fill in a brief survey, the proposals for the 440 are not hugely unpopular. They benefit Chiswick by providing a much quicker link to Acton Mainline.

Can you explain why you think it a good idea for Ealing Council to survey people on the matter? It isn't their decision and any results are unlikely to influence the outcome. Isn't this just a waste of public money?
