| Yes, it was a very local mobility scooter rider. I often stand still on the pavement so that an obviously L-driver child can negotiate the obstacles on the pavement better BUT the accompanying adult is responsible and should be in charge and children should taught to share and respect other people on the pavement. The sensible ones are good (even if very small) and stop at crossovers and wait for their adult. The irresponsible and reckless adults are often on their mobiles or nattering to another adult whilst power-walking their 4WD buggies two abreast with their scooter riding rugrats way ahead and dangerously unattended. Looking where they are going should be a basic requirement! Sharing the pavement with considerate other users isn't a problem! |
