What's the point? Laurence is prepared to believe that 'day' doesn't mean day, that 'light' doesn't mean light, that God engineered each of our bodily organs to last 900 years, then reduced this down to 120 - basically his belief comes before evidence or science. Which renders debate pointless - you can't win a point because all that matters is what Laurence believes. Which is fine, but it means he can't really debate with rational human beings. |
