David, Mr Jennings is the expert on these matters, but I thought the transfer passenger ratio was as high as 40%? It's only statistics though. A lot do leave the airport, sometimes even to go to Paris etc while they wait for a connection! And anyway, are not pax using our goods and services while in Heathrow, and if it's good, they might stay longer next time! If the rest of Britain is like T5 without the Dutch baggage engine?? Actually, I thought Ferrovial bought a pup. The interest rates on the loans must be killing them. Or are they going down now? Talking of disasters, what about the 747 that went into a housing estate recently after leaving Schipol? Watch out Windsor, Slough and Eton! We'll get there in the end? |
