| I'm not disputing the FACT (why the shouty capitals?). I merely point out that you selected just one year, and a wholly unrepresentative one at that, on which to base your assertion that the Tories have done an excellent job in reducing child poverty. The 2020/21 data is unreliable, because of difficulties of collecting survey data during the pandemic, and is distorted by the temporary coronavirus relief measures. Nevertheless, your whole argument about trends in child poverty depends on the data for just this one anomalous year. |
