| 'that's what Labour does spend' Could you finish the sentence, please? 'spend' on what? Oh, you mean 'that's what Labour does. Spend.' or perhaps 'that's what Labour does - spend'. It's amazing what a bit of punctuation does to help the reader understand one's meaning and surprising the number of people who (not ignorant of the rules) seem to think that it is up to the reader to make sense of what they have written. Is it really too much effort to employ a bit of punctuation? |
