What I want to know is what happens when Indian companies, having won all of these contracts, then turn around and say we want to get paid more? Gt Britain reliant on their outsourced services can't then turn around and say 'no'!! I find the whole thing very interesting from a sociological point of view - we are seeing the economic resurgence of India probably because of the huge connection with India by people living here. Great on one level, but what will happen to England? Everyone tells me that GB has such a strong economy etc, but for most people the cost of living is enormous and the basic services are not forthcoming - is England ironically going the way of India in terms of a massive gap between rich and poor and a lot people living in poverty? |
