I was at the receiving end of this scam about two years ago. It wasn't a phone, but a pair of Gucci sunglasses. When the courrier showed up to collect them he unwittingly gave me the address for the new delivery, which turned out to be the block of flats at the end of the 94 line. Someone was probably waiting outside the building with the excuse that the bells didn't work or something similar. I refused to release the parcel, contacted the sunglass company (who were none too interested in collecting the sunglasses) and the police. So beware, it's not just phones....
