Richard - the CPZ has clearly worked in Park and Staveley, so should presumably be extended to those neighbouring streets with problems suffering with excess parking, given that you aren't going to persuade residents with CPZs to go back to what they don't want. Also I notice that with your Park/Staveley obsession you apparently aren't campaigning to have other CPZs along the A4 removed - are you aware of *any* streets off the A4 between Chiswick and Hammersmith that don't have CPZs? Hell, even Corney Road does. All the streets north of the A4 do, as do all streets in Hammersmith. It's not surprising north Grove Park stands out as a magnet for commuter parking, is it? It's the only free bit left. So, off you toddle and persuade all those residents to give up their CPZs, then. Let us know how you get on. After all, by your logic we must be seeing displacement from them, surely? |
