Fair enough, Luke, perhaps I was a bit slow to pick up on the 'humour' sign. However, in response to your question about who actually throws rotten tomatoes, I gather that today's missile of choice is the egg (see recent thread on unruly schoolchildren at Chiswick Station), and last year there were a few postings from some charming young chaps who thought that throwing spoons from their cars at a homeless man underneath the A4 flyover was the height of pants-wetting hilarity. In short, throwing things at people is considered quite acceptable among certain sections of society today :-) P.S. I also anticipate the revaluation of property with great anxiety :-( |
