For what it's worth, I think Farage is like a used car salesman, and has attracted more than a fair share of weirdos and crackpots. Thornberry was just plain stupid, think what you like but keep your gob firmly shut when in the middle of a by-election. I also happen think there are more important things to get in a twist about than immigration and all this cobblers about being in the EU, and it worries me that people het up about those issues aren't looking deeper into what UKIP stands for in terms of the NHS, housing and education. Mostly UKIP is made up of another breed of posh boys and former bankers, but I agree with the political correspondent today who reckoned that people have used these by-elections as a chance to give the Westminster establishment a kick up the backside. |
