No I must admit it hasn't crossed our minds, but this nonsense of people having to have umpteen checks for working or volunteering for things in different areas is utter madness. I thought that was something they were supposed to sort out? On top of all this my son will now need to get a new check but many employers are now refusing to pay and you can't get one done yourself, so an employer will deduct the cost of the check from your wages. If you are unemployed the JC+ don't want to know about this either, so quite what you are expected to do to get a check in order to get a job I don't know. Bearing in mind the cost will take one week's benefit! What a mess for something that's been pretty useless!
