Yes, that's what we thought the idiot would do - as he said he was defending himself, but the police rounded up absolutely everyone in the near vicinity and after sitting in the nick all night all my son wanted to do was get home for some sleep and a shower. Our advice would have been get the duty solicitor and let it go to court for self defence, but a 20 something doesn't necessarily think like that unfortunately. But to have this follow him for the rest of his life as if it were the Great Train Robbery or something does seem a bit unfair.
