Well having looked at this it seems that even when a CONVICTION is spent it will still appear on a DBS, so in the eyes of the law it is over, but not for these people. Bearing in mind this was just a caution and not for anything remotely connected to any safeguarding issue it really is harsh, makes you laugh when several of these 'safeguarding panels' have sat around doing sod-all while hundreds of young girls were being abused. If we had the money I'd like to test this under the Human Rights legislation, this it seems will haunt my son until his dying day. |
