My first house in Devonshire Road cost me £7,400 and is now worth more than a million. However not really any profit at all because if I still lived there and sold it now I’d only be able to buy a cheaper house having paid estate agents for the sale, solicitor for selling and buying again, and stamp duty on the next house. It’s corks on the water, and even they sink slightly. |
