| This is not a solution to our problems! It will penalise middle class home owners who have worked hard to build for their futures and it will be the downfall of London The aim of the tax is to tax 'Wealthy' home owners. Our home will fall just into the category. However we have been there for almost 30 years and worked hard for it. It is our nest egg for our future and that of our children. We had absolutely no intention of moving out of London for several years but now are seriously considering putting our house on the market immediately as I suspect will many others. If we wait till after the tax is in place we will be hit by two taxes stamp duty and mansion tax. We have seen Gordon Brown bankrupt our country we cannot let Labour loose again to turn London into a declining city. |
