| Its funny but everyone likes the idea of the "rich" paying their share but the Rich (anyone earning more than £42K a year according to Labour) are already paying way more than their fair share. Outside of London, very few of the population actually make a net contribution to public services unless they earn more than £28K a year. Maybe everyone else needs to pay their fair share before asking someone else to do it for them - under Ed's proposal all that will happen is that people will sell up and move abroad - taking their jobs and income tax with them. Not that this will matter as Labour have never learned broken their long standing habit of over-taxing, over spending and breaking the economy in the process. |
