Just comparing the point made in the article than Boris gains power from the votes of ordinary people, whether left-wing journos like it or not, to the fact that Milibean Minor was promoted above his ability level by Trade Union block voting.

I don't think BoJo has the right qualities to be Prime Minister, but if he does get the job, it will be because ordinary voters like him. The same could be said for Tony Blair, but not for either of his successors as Labour leader.
