This is a man who tried to argue that it was OK to lie to his party leader about an affair because Bill Clinton had lied about his affair.  I'm not entirely sure one should expect to much honesty and principle from that direction, really.  Still, Mary Macleod likes him, even though he blatantly mislead her about the Turnham Green Piccadilly Line stop.
