"Whereas Milibean Minor became leader of the Labour Party due to the Trade Union block votes. Just as with Gordon Bean, he got the job without ordinary people having a say in the matter." Not sure I understand that - how many 'ordinary people' got a say in Cameron becoming Leader of the Tories then? All the parties have their own internal mechanisms for choosing their Leaders. Anyway I think the point is that a vote for BoJo, a creature of the establishment, could never be considered a bona fide protest vote. Ditto Farage. |
