thanks for the replies. I assumed the ceramic pots were probably better as the metal ones have a non-stick coating I think which I assume will get damaged eventually. I'm not sure about leaving food heated in a non-stick coated vessel for hours - chemicals getting into the food? No mine isn't a Sear and Seal one - just basic. I suspect that the 3.5 L one might be too big if it always needs to be half full for best results. |
