| Metal probable just makes it slightly quicker to heat up (3l of cold liquid and food will take a while) whereas ceramic will probably retain heat better when switched off. Sounds though like you want a smaller model. I can recommend the Breville 1.5L slow coocker. Although you cant do whole joints and whole chicken you can do the normal stuff at the quantity you want. I got mine from Sainsb. at about 12 pounds last year then went on to get my Dad one, who can't stop using it |
