'All to often I find, when asked to help someone who complains that the system doesn’t work, is that the person is rushing and not following the clear instructions. The DVLA system couldn’t be easier!!' I really don't care for the usual but only too typical response from Steve implying that anyone who has a problem has to be some sort of a moron and it's always all their fault. As I have said I have done this licence renewal previously online with no problem, there is nothing to advise you that you may have made an error and as far as I am concerned off the application went with all the correct info. and let's face they want enough for relatively easy transaction. But tech as we all know can get things disastrously wrong and is also open to all sorts of problems. I recently had to apply for an Australian visa, now there's an experience, but got their finally after going through their convoluted processes. The people who design these systems are all tech geeks, the rest of us are not, therein lies the problem. |
