Richmond retail is in a bad way. The latest footfall figures show a 24% year-on-year decline and on top of that the proportion of new visitors has fallen from 25% to 18%, that's nearly halving.

If you are right that Richmond is much more reliant on cars for its customers, it is suffering as a consequence.
